Open Journalism and why I love the internet

The Guardian did this quite brilliant advert, imagining how they might cover the story of the Three little pigs. Now this is why I love the internet, someone has done an amazing version imagining how The Sun might also cover the same story.

This makes me want to go to the carnival and get involved. Beautiful video, also helped by some beautiful music.

‘Female Energy’ was one of the last projects I worked on at This is Real Art, leaving before it was completely finished. Checking out the TiRA website this morning to see what they’re up to, I saw they’d uploaded the completed project and it looks amazing. Great to see it all finally coming together.

Interbrand Sydney have just launched this new identity for New Theatre. Seeing these kind of things makes me fall in love with graphic design all over again. A simple, clever, iconic logo mark and great application of the brand. It’s beautiful to look at. I love the wine bottle, tickets, wayfinding and moving image work. It’s rare to see a brand applied this well across a range of different formats. Especially in a world where 3D ‘evolving’ logos seem to be the trend.Interbrand Sydney are one of my favourite agencies at the moment. Everything they put out is just brilliant. Check out Cloak and Dagger and the Telstra re-brand too.
